Cross Country 2015

On the 23rd September 2015 a group of our students went to a Cross Country event at QEGS to compete against other schools.
First were the year 1’s and 2’s race, then 3’s and 4’s, and finally 5’s and 6’s. First up were the year 1’s and 2’s walked around the course following the leader. After, they walked round the course they went to the starting line and ran the race. Harry Martin came 2nd. Very well done!
Next up were the year 3's and 4's race. The same as the year 1's and 2's they walked round the course. As soon as they finished walking round the course they started the race. Joe Stelfox came 2nd just missing out on first place. Very well done again Osmaston Primary.
Finally it was time for the year 5’s and 6’s race. As the same as the other races, they all had to walk round the course it took them longer to walk round the course because they had a further distance to run as they were older. Once they finished walking the course they went to the starting line and started. It was a quick start to the race but a lot of the runners tired quickly. The 1st  girl back from Osmaston was  Ella Bennett and the 1st  boy back from Osmaston Primary School was Ollie Daniel who came in  6th place, overall.
Well done Osmaston Primary!
